I loved how this fictionalized biography was so in sync with real events in the Hemingways' lives. I knew the facts, but this book put me in Hadley's, not Ernest's, head. I thought some of the passages from Hem's perspective (and in his prose style) fell flat, but other times it really worked. Overall, a strong read for fans of the Lost Generation.
I don't usually like graphic novels, but my husband liked this one so much, I had to read it. It has me trying to remember what I learned in Philosophy in college -- existentialism, nihilism, etc. I still haven't decided what the ending is saying about human nature.
