Meet Dante. Very good series. The original vampires of this series are from outer-space, alien beings who have mated with human females, causing the new generation of vampires. There are a number of interesting characters throughout the book, yet each book focuses on one in particular.

Excellent voice, violent and charming, Francie Brady is someone you will constantly come back to. I liked the humor and the insanity and the blood. I read it at leastonce a year.
