this book is all pictures. it's about a man immigrating from what looks like eastern europe to this alternate universe where people have owl-cats that live in pottery vessels and travel by floating ship... the artwork is un-fucking-believable, ultra realistic, i can't imagine how he did it. the fantasy element is cool because it evokes that feeling of immigrating to a new place and everything being new and unfamiliar. a beautiful, beautiful work of art.
