I borrowed this book from a friend and was skeptical. The only other Frank Peretti books that I've read had battles between angels and demons and I've been in more of a straight fantasy or thriller mood lately. However, this book came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. It's a straight up book about good and evil. There is an element of fantasy that is not expected from the "typical" Christian author. And there was definitely a lot of action. The book kept me guessing. I will not say more as I don't want to give it away, but I will say this book was not what I expected...in a GOOD way!
