This book was really interesting, and you learn more about bananas than you ever thought possible, but it gets pretty repetitive. We get it, we get it--bananas are a popular food choice that might not be around in a few years; we have to save the bananas! And believe me, I do want to make sure we save the bananas. But I don't need to read that many pages about it. Probably the best part of the book was learning about the banana's history in Central and South America (the banana republics).
