I wasn't sure what to expect with this book, it sounded interesting but maybe a little bland. However, Anathema far exceeded my expectations. The synopsis only covers the first couple chapters, it is far more than it appears. The characters a believable and make you feel for them. The storyline was excellent if slightly underdeveloped. I wish there was a little more to their history. There are a few instances where the dialogue felt a little cheesy, but they were sporadic enough that it wasn't annoying. This series has a lot of potential and I look forward to the next book!!!!
