I have been told over and over that I should like this book, but I can't stand the damn thing. It may be because it was a victim of uni discussions that left me feeling less than enchanted by the amount of absolute crap that everyone was reading into the story at the time. Sure the narrative style is a cool idea, but it dragged for me a lot of the time. The story is a little bit interesting here and there... when it's not being completely pointless and overly whimsical, but it still managed to annoy me and I wouldn't have finished this book if I didn't have to write about it at the time.
