This is a collection of poems that have appeared on Garisson Keillor's radio spot Writer's Almanac (one of my favorites!). He's been very kind to put them together into a book. Its a wonderful anthology of poetry that has grab you by the throat feeling. Nothing opaque or evasive about these pieces, they are full of feeling and short of rambling. By the way....read the introduction too. I'm not much for introductions, but this one's great.
