I almost put this book down several times because I had trouble keeping up with the time and character shifts. But then the plot threads became clear and I read on to see how it all came together in the present. Interesting characters with lots of regrets make this a strong story.

پیش از هرچیز با خواندن کتاب شیفته شخصیت عبید زاکانی شدم. بعلاوه حافظ را بسیار نزدیک و دست یافتنی شناختم. کتاب تصویر خوبی هم از اوضاع سیاسی روزگار حافظ می دهد.
