** spoiler alert ** O...M...Gosh. This book was incredible! It had the same affect on me as did the Hunger Games, in that I was kept on the preverbial edge of my seat and could not guess what was going to happen next with Katniss and Peeta. I thought there was a good amount of time in the beginning that showed Katniss back in district 12 and how her life there is differant now that she lives on Victor row and her strained relationships with both Peeta and Gale. I am not happy about her choosing Gale over Peeta in the beginning. As much as I like Gale, I really want Peeta and Katniss to end up together!!! I was shocked when it was announced that both Katniss and Peeta would be in the Games AGAIN. I was expecting the book to be all about the uprising and Katniss running away from the Capital. Instead the whole uprising happend without them while they struggled to stay alive in the Arena. Also the Arena in this book was SO creative. The idea of the clock with differant horrible things that happen in each section was scary! Man those Capitol people are EVIL! I really felt towards the end that Katniss was falling in Love with Peeta, for real. and then it seemed weird to me that there was only like 10 pages left and they were still in the Arena...and I knew that Suzanne Collins was going to end this book in such a way that I am going to have to wait another year until the 3rd book comes out to see!!! The end of the book was AWESOME anyways. It definetly keeps me wanting more. Peeta and Katniss are still alive...of course so is Gale which means more love triangle to come. The Uprising has started and they have hope with help of the elusive District 13, which I have a feeling will be really interesting to read about. CANT WAIT!!!!
