This book was similar to the other Dresden Files books I have read. Interesting at the beginning, starts to drag a bit in the middle, but is hard to put down at the end. Many of the characters repeat from the first three books. Harry and Murphy have patched up their relationship, and he's treating her like a grown-up now instead of trying to protect her all the time. Billy the werewolf and his gang are back. Susan did not show up, although many other new characters did. After four novels, it feels like Butcher is still world building. Luckily for him, I like Harry and the others well enough at this point to keep reading.
