I loved this book and I hated it. I loved the story, the plot, the interactions. But I hated that the characters were so young! If they were teenagers, I would have been fine, but I didn't like to see children being robbed of their sweetness and it irked me the entire book.

This was my second venture into Picoult's work....it was amazing. I've always been facinated by other cultures and I liked the Amish aspect of the story. Made for good reading.
