omg, i need the third book now! this book was really gooD! i love Ari's father and sabastan and all of them its crazy! and now i know why athena was/is so freaking evil! but this book just is a must buy, must read, much LOVE! But the things that gets me the most is Violet. She is soo... interesting. i hope in the third book that the author really gets into her story as well. There's just something about her. She's all mysterious and epic.
Won an ARC from her "get unplugged" contest. I honestly have to say I was a bit disappointed with this one. Too much inner monologue and preaching, it got boring after a while. A lot of readers pointed out that this was one of Justin's flaws in Awaken (I didn't mind so much, because I really liked Awaken), so I would have thought the author already fixed her tendencies to over-ruminate. Katie Kacvinsky really needs to understand more the writing concept of showing, not telling. On a more positive note, Maddie kicked some serious ass in this book. Hopefully, the last book will be better and more memorable than Middle Ground, because this is a really interesting series that I think paints a realistic picture on what life could be like a hundred years from now.
