Iriwn Yalom is best known for his professional work in psychology, but his novels "Lying on the Couch" and "When Nietzsche Wept" are both phenomenal. Lying on the Couch is a really inciteful view of therapists and their patients. It's a story of deceipt, dependance, insight, and humility, and it has a powerful lesson. Also VERY funny. This is one of my 10 favorite books.
