I often wish there was a 1/2 in the star option, so this could be 3 1/2 stars. Enjoyable book. Pro-Richard III, but not rabidly so. For 5 star, pro-Ricardian, sheer Wars of the Roses rabid bliss, nothing ever beats Sharon Kay Penman's 'The Sunne in Splendour'. But this was unique in that it focused more on Richard & Anne Neville's childhood together at Middleham Castle - a very atmospheric ruin on the Yorkshire Moors even today.
