This book was horrible! I really was interested in hearing about the details about a family's experience with internment. You know when you start a chapter of a book and the author just spends a bit of time trying to describe some details before he or she starts in with the characters and real information? Well, that was the whole book. I kept wondering when the story would really start and it never did. The author obviously tried to be artsy. Sorry but it didn't work. A book needs to engage and tell a flowing story.
