The longest book in the Harry Potter series (and oddly enough, the shortest movie), I think this one gets a bad rap. Sure, Harry is being a selfish, annoying 15-year-old boy, but the thing I love about this entry is how much is captured how I felt when I was 15. Not to mention the brilliantly portrayed fiasco that was Harry's Valentine's date with Cho. Yep, teenage boys are quite the idiots. Plus, this is the introduction of another of my favorite characters, the positively loony Luna Lovegood. And it has the most suspenseful and, I think, the best climax of the series.
